Christ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church

We seem to have gotten to a new normal. We are beginning to realize that the virus will be with us much like the flu. With the availability of the Covid-19 vaccine, we are seeing changes in gathering together and other activities. Our Government is encouraging everyone to get vaccinated. Many people have differing thoughts on whether or not to get the vaccine. It can be a very difficult topic for some. As Christians we must listen carefully and openly to the points of view of others. It is a personal decision. We should not judge others on their choice.
James 5:9
Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Be hold, the Judge is standing at the door!
As we gather to worship we must first put our faith in God. God has given us the ability to follow the CDC guidelines for safety; the vaccine, social distancing, wearing masks, hand washing/sanitizer and being conscious of your own health and wellness in not attending if you do not feel well. We must continue to be mindful that the virus continues to put many at risk. Therefore we encourage those who are not vaccinated and more at risk to carefully consider whether to remain at home as well as to continue to wear a mask when attending. Remember though that God is in control and we can remain confident that He will guide us in all our ways.

Every Sunday
Pastor Holls
prepares a children's sermon. He brings the little ones up to gather around him and teaches about the sermon.
The children are then encouraged to gather in the Sunday School room for their Sunday School time.
LET US TAKE TIME TO PRAY TOGETHER
In this time when the need for prayer is felt so great, the result of prayer is seen powerfully when the family of faith gathers to pray together. We all enjoy it when a singer is alone. But when more singers join at the same time the spirit is uplifted even more.
Let us take the time to gather for A Prayer Vigil on Saturday February 26 during the hours of 10 AM to 3 PM.
During those hours all are invited to come to the church for prayer. No one is required to be there for the whole time, but all are welcome.
At the beginning of each hour, Pastor will lead a devotion. Then those present will be welcome to stay for whatever amount of time they choose to give to prayer while in the sanctuary.
All are welcome and should feel welcome to invite family and friends to be with us.
