As our country continues to work through this pandemic, and the world panics, our response to the COVID-19 virus should show the people around us that we live in faith, not fear, and that our hope is in God. We look to our Doctors, Scientists, and those in the technology field, to find the path to curb and cure this illness. God has blessed them with His gifts to provide them the ability to heal His people. Our hope is not in those who has been given those gifts, but in the One who has given us the greatest gift of life and salvation through the forgiveness of our sins.   By responding to this situation using our God given reasoning  and our common sense we can remain calm and, although fearful, able to to live our daily lives knowing that God is in control.
The most important thing you can do is to talk to our Lord through prayer.  Please follow the advice of medical professionals and public health officials to protect yourselves and your loved ones from this virus.
 Psalm 103:2-4
Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies.

 Holy Week
Beginning on Palm Sunday we embark on our Holy Week Journey. On Palm Sunday Jesus enters Jerusalem on a colt while crowds welcome Him with palms and shouts of Hosanna! This marks the beginning of Holy Week.
Instead of focusing on the problems facing this world during this week, let us turn our thoughts to Jesus and follow our Shepherd into Jerusalem. We enter Holy Week with Jesus, following him down that road to Calvary.

On Monday:  Read Mark 11:1-19. Jesus cleared the Temple. God’s                                                         Law was on His lips.

On Tuesday:  Read Mark 11:20 through Mark 13:37.  Jesus was
                                                consistently hounded by the
leaders of the day. They questioned
His Authority, His view on taxes,
                                                on the Commandments and even
                                                on who He was.

On Wednesday:  Read Mark 14:1-16.  Jesus was in Bethany
                                                            resting up until the Passover
                                                            feast.

On Thursday:   Read Mark 14:17- 72.  Jesus eats the Passover meal
with the Disciples and goes to
                                                         pray.

On Friday:    Read Mark 15.  Jesus is crucified.

On Saturday:   Read Matthew Chapter 27   A different account of
                                                      Jesus crucifixion.

On Easter Sunday:   Read Mark Chapter 16,
                                                Matthew Chapter 28
                                        Luke Chapter 24
They give a beautiful picture of Jesus Resurrection!
